Overview

New Energy Solar is a sustainable investment business established to invest in large-scale operating solar power stations that generate power with zero emissions.

The Business intends to acquire and operate a diversified portfolio of solar and renewable energy assets across the globe with an initial focus on solar assets with contracted cash flows in the United States, Australia and select Asian markets.

Investment objective and strategy

New Energy Solar aims to generate positive social impact alongside attractive financial returns for investors through the combination of distributions from producing solar assets and growth through solar and renewable sector acquisitions and developments.

The Business will initially target lower-risk, high quality, long-lived solar assets with contracted cash flows.

There will be limited exposure to technology risk as these assets will generally be de-risked through long-term power purchase agreements with governments, energy utilities and large corporations.
